Move-In Information

All the details you need

Thanks for choosing to live at UW-Eau Claire for the upcoming school year. Below you'll find the information you need about move-in dates and preparation as well as tasks you need to complete before you arrive on campus!

Move-In Dates Fall 2019

Incoming freshman and transfer students will register in My Housing Portal and this process will open once assignments are released. Students must register for a date and time as specified below. Each time slot has limited enrollment so that the moving in process is spaced out to provide for ample access to elevators, moving carts, and parking. Thus, register early to get the time that meets your needs! (See Complete Forms below in #2).

  • Saturday, August 31st (8am-10am, 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, or 2pm-4pm)
  • Sunday, September 1st (8am-10am, 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm)

Returning students may begin moving in Sunday, September 1st at 2pm and may arrive any date/time after this as long as checked in by 8am on Wednesday, September 4th.
