It’s time to tell us your story. Through our holistic approach to admitting students, we consider many academic factors but we also seek to learn more about you as an individual. Make sure to use the essay section as an opportunity to share your story with us. What drives you? How do you help others? Why do you feel you would thrive here at UW-Eau Claire?
We begin accepting applications on August 1 for the fall semester. For fall admission, submit your application and all required documents by December 1 for priority consideration and by February 1 to be considered on a space-available basis. December 1 is also the priority deadline for scholarships.
How to apply
Please submit the following:
- One of the following applications:
- $50 application fee or application fee waiver form (if the fee is a financial hardship)
- High school transcript
Note: An unofficial initial high school transcript may be uploaded during the application process. An official final high school transcript will be required prior to enrollment.
- ACT or SAT scores for all students under the age of 22 (writing portion not required)

Applicants who apply prior to February 1 and meet college preparatory credit requirements may have an admission decision postponed. Those with postponed applications will be considered on a space-available basis. If updated materials are received by February 15, students will be notified of a final decision no later than March 15.
